CLASSY MOVE
35 INDIVIDUALS CONVICTED IN “OPERATION DONOR DEER” FRAUD SCHEME

In something of a reverse Robin Hood style of scheme, 35 individuals have been convicted after withholding deer meat destined to food banks and flipping it on the black market for profit. The convictions come after a detailed investigation, aptly referred to as “Operation Donor Deer”, by the Ohio DNR’s Division of Wildlife and included over 55 violations.

This particular investigation centered around a local deer processing operation said to be a partner with the state’s donation initiatives, but instead, used the donated venison for their own personal financial gain. At the center of the probe was Rod's Custom Deer Processing in Harrisville, a literal chop-shop owned by 59-year-old Rodney Shields…

WANDERINGS // A SFW GLIMPSE OF OUR BROWSER HISTORY

I’m not a huge candy bar guy or anything like that, but I don’t take kindly to anyone messing with the quality of what is perhaps the best chocolate and peanut butter-fused concoction on the planet. And unlike chocolate treats, I do LOVE a good sandwich. Unfortunately, the club sandwich is one in particular that has also been subject to unnecessary tampering over the years. Thankfully, these top-rated eateries around the world seem to have kept this classic sandwich as God intended. And I’m not sure the boys on the Olympic men’s hockey team could all fit in there last night, but the smallest bar in the world is in Milan and apparently, it’s worth the trip.
